Samsung smart TVs are some of the top quality smart TVs used for streaming media content and has continued to improve year after year. The 9 series, Samsung's latest series of smart TVs includes one of their largest Smart TVs and mainly the new SUHD curved TVs.
The series of smart TVs are all equipped for streaming the latest TV shows and movies, playing your favorite games, sharing photos, videos and music, and a cool social circle page that lets you interact with friends and family with apps like Facebook, Twitter, and make video calls through the Skype app.
The 9 Series smart TVs consist mainly of the Samsung Curved SUHD TVs except for one, but nonetheless, these Curved TVs were designed to enhance the sense of depth and draw the viewers in deeper from anywhere in the room while also giving them a wider field of view. The 9 Series being Samsung's latest of all the other series surely has more models to be released like the flagship KS9800 that is a 88" smart curved TV packed with some new features like the multi-zone full array backlighting and their latest HDR technology, the HDR 1000 and its' new revolutionary Quantum Dot Color technology. The KS9800 will be their latest model to enter their mass market line of smart TVs.
All models within the series line are SUHD TVs except for the UN105S9, which is a 105" 4K Ultra HD smart curved TV. The UN105S9 is one of Samsung's largest smart TVs and one their most expensive with a price tag of $119,999.99.
The 105" smart curved TV give viewers a wider field of view with a panoramic effect and an exceptional life like 4K UHD picture quality. The picture experience of this size TV is more than breathtaking and can have the sense of being in your own home movie theater. The model is also packed with some of Samsung's new technologies that improves picture quality like the PurColor technology, Precision Black Local Dimming, Wide Color Enhancement Plus, a Clear Motion Rate 1440 and Samsung's new Smart Interaction technology which allows you to control your the TV with hand motions and voice commands.
Managing other compatible Samsung devices is even easier using AnyNet+ which lets multiple Samsung devices communicate with each other using only one remote. Samsung smart TVs are all packaged with the Samsung standard remote that has the Smart Hub button in the center which lets you access all of your apps for entertainment, social, games, news and more. Samsung's 9 series smart TVs comes with built in WiFi and a web browser that lets you search for your favorite sites, access emails and much more.
Like all of Samsung smart TVs, the 9 Series models comes with some other cool additional features and is very Eco friendly too. Thanks to the built in Eco sensor function which can be turned on and off, the Samsung 9 series smart LED TVs will automatically adjust the brightness of your smart TV by randomly dimming or brightening your smart TV according to what you are watching at the moment on your TV and the brightness of the room to reduce power consumption. Another standout feature Samsung ConnectShare Movie feature that makes it easy to access and play movies directly from a USB connected camera, access media on an external hard drive, view your photos and other media stored on a flash drive, and much more.
A popular feature that Samsung introduced into some of their smart TV's is its' cloud gaming feature with Sony Playstation called Playstation Now. Playstation Now turns your TV into a gaming console, meaning that you do not need the gaming console to play your playstation games. All you need to do is pair your Playstation DualShock 4 Controller to your TV and enjoy all of your Playstation 3 games right on your TV.

SUHD
Samsung's SUHD models were first introduced in 2015 and has some new improved features that does not appear in any other standard UHD models. SUHD allows the user to experience a more rich and wider spectrum of colors and with SUHD TV, you get 64x more detailed color expressions than 4K UHD. One built in feature of SUHD is the ability for it to remaster your non-SUHD content by analyzing the source of the video and adjusting it for a better quality pucture. Nano-crystal Technology
In short, its is Samsung's version of Quantum Dots that they called Nano-crystal Technology which enhances picture quality by expanding how many colors appears on the screen, and how rich they look. Peak Illuminator
Introduced in Samsung's latest versions of UHD smart TV's and standard in all of their SUHD smart TVs, Peak Illuminator is their version of HDR or High Dynamic Range technology which is designed to enhance contrast and deliver higher brightness levels. Some models will have Peak Illuminator Ultimate while others will have Peak Illuminator Pro which differs in type of local dimming used.
