The 7 Series, Samsung's first series of smart TVs to be introduced in all UHD and SUHD resolution and are all equipped with top of the line technology that takes your TV watching experience to another level.

Like all of Samsung smart TVs, the 7 Series models comes with some other cool additional features and is very Eco friendly too. Thanks to the built in Eco sensor function which can be turned on and off, the Samsung 7 series smart LED TVs will automatically adjust the brightness of your smart TV by randomly dimming or brightening your smart TV according to what you are watching at the moment on your TV and the brightness of the room to reduce power consumption.
Another standout feature Samsung ConnectShare Movie feature that makes it easy to access and play movies directly from a USB connected camera, access media on an external hard drive, view your photos and other media stored on a flash drive, and much more.
A popular feature that Samsung introduced into some of their smart TV's is its' cloud gaming feature with Sony Playstation called Playstation Now. Playstation Now turns your TV into a gaming console, meaning that you do not need the gaming console to play your playstation games. All you need to do is pair your Playstation DualShock 4 Controller to your TV and enjoy all of your Playstation 3 games right on your TV via Playstation Now.
It has a growing library of hundreds of Playstation 3 game releases and users can subscribe to get unlimited access to the games for $20 a month or $45 for 3 Months and for those who do not wish to subscribe can rent individual games as well - no console required. The Playstation Now app is accessible through the Samsung Smart Hub.
While most of the 7 Series smart TV models comes with 4K Ultra HD, some of the newer models comes with Samsung's new SUHD that allows the user to experience a more rich and wider spectrum of colors. With SUHD TV, you get 64x more detailed colour expressions than 4K UHD. Some of the models in this series with SUHD are the JS7000 and the JS700D.
The 4k UHD model TVs has fast moving picture resolutions between Motion Rate 120 and 240 in different models while the SUHD models have a Motion Rate 120 in it's models in this series

Nano-crystal Technology
In short, its is Samsung's version of Quantum Dots that they called Nano-crystal Technology which enhances picture quality by expanding how many colors appears on the screen, and how rich they look. Samsung uses the quantum dots to increase color gamuts but is a technology they refer to as Nano-crystals. Peak Illuminator
Introduced in Samsung's latest versions of UHD smart TV's and standard in all of their SUHD smart TVs, Peak Illuminator is their version of HDR or High Dynamic Range technology which is designed to enhance contrast and deliver higher brightness levels. Some models will have Peak Illuminator Ultimate while others will have Peak Illuminator Pro which differs in type of local dimming used.
