The Fire TV and The Fire TV Stick are similar in many ways, but in some they differ. The biggest difference is the Fire TV is a console while the Fire TV Stick is a HDMI Plug-In, a smaller more portable device. Some of the differences with the Fire TV and the Fire TV Stick includes the processors that are used and the internal memory. The Fire TV uses a quad core processor and has 2 GB of memory and in the Fire TV Stick, there's a dual core processor and 1 GB of internal memory.
Within the Amazon Fire TV Family, you have 2 models- The Fire TV and The Fire TV Stick, each with its' own available upgrade. The upgraded version of the Fire TV is the Amazon Fire TV Gaming Edition and the upgrade for the Fire TV Stick comes with the new Voice Remote. The Gaming Edition comes with the Fire TV console, the Fire TV Game Controller, two games, and a 32 GB microSD card for expanded storage and the bundle also includes two games, Shovel Knight and Disney DuckTales.
